Using the Hape Musical Whale Fountain is super easy. First, make sure you have 4 AA batteries (they're not included, so you'll need to get them separately). Then, stick the fountain to the bottom of the bathtub with the attached suction cup. Once it's in place, you can either sit back and watch the water from the whales dance to the music, or press down on the whales to play them like piano keys. When you press one whale, its fountain will stop and the others will get stronger. As for maintenance, after each use, dry the fountain thoroughly to prevent rust and damage. Keep it in a dry place when not in use. Remember, this toy is for kids aged 18 months and above, so always supervise children while they're playing with it.
